Peterman's white pearl bowls are made with a natural white paint wash that is 100% food safe.   All of their hand finished bowls have slight variations in color as tone can vary from tree to tree.  These white pearl bowls are most frequently made using oak which is a sought after hardwood known for being strong, heavy and straight-grained.
